About Us

Jack Shumaker started Shumaker Furniture in 1968. Mark Shumaker started working in the shop in 1971. Curvan Mills joined the Company in 1979. In the beginning, we did moving damage claims for moving companies in residential homes.

We began to do work with office furniture dealers and commercial office entities. As time went on, these clients began to rely on our services for their repair, modification and refinishing needs. Our focus turned toward these clients.

Our attitude toward the quality of our work, and attention to service, built our Company. The ability to take on a problem with seemingly no solution and solve it sets us apart.

The relationship we developed with our clients or friends has shaped what we are as a Company. Our reliability, honesty and desire to serve is our cornerstone, and has been greatly affected by our association with people who display and highly regard such qualities.

Our desire is to do our work in a timely and economical manner and to hold to the high quality that will bring the end result to be the best that it can be.
